What brought this artwork
New Public Artist Fellowship
Urban Arts Commission and the University of Memphis collaborated on this program to address the institutional barriers artists face when creating large-scale public sculptures and support artists expanding their practices beyond the studio. The 2023-24 New Public Artists Fellowship provided in-depth training and professional development resources to 6 up-and-coming, talented sculptors.
